TERMS & CONDITIONS
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Ezeebook and the services available through ezeebook.com. By accessing or using Ezeebook, creating an account or making a booking through the platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About Ezeebook
Ezeebook provides an online booking platform that connects customers with independent businesses and service providers. Customers can use Ezeebook to discover businesses, view services and availability, and make appointments online. Businesses can use Ezeebook to manage services, availability, appointments and customer bookings.
Ezeebook provides the technology that facilitates bookings between customers and businesses. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Ezeebook does not provide the services advertised by businesses and is not a party to the contract for those services.
2. Using Ezeebook
You must use Ezeebook lawfully and only for its intended purpose. You must not misuse the website or platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access to Ezeebook or another user's account, interfere with the operation or security of the service, or use Ezeebook for fraudulent, unlawful or abusive purposes.
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to Ezeebook where we reasonably believe these Terms & Conditions have been breached, where necessary to protect the platform or its users, or where required by law.
3. Making a booking
When a customer makes a booking through Ezeebook, the booking is made with the business providing the service. Customers are responsible for checking the service, price, location, date, time and any other relevant information before confirming a booking.
A booking is subject to the availability and acceptance of the business. Any contract for the provision of the booked service is between the customer and the relevant business, not Ezeebook.
4. Cancellations, changes and no-shows
Businesses may set their own policies regarding cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, deposits, refunds and missed appointments. Customers should check any applicable terms provided by the business before making or changing a booking.
Any cancellation, refund or dispute relating to the service provided by a business should normally be resolved directly between the customer and that business. Ezeebook may provide platform support where appropriate but is not responsible for a business's cancellation or refund policy.
5. Business accounts and responsibilities
Businesses using Ezeebook are responsible for ensuring that the information displayed in their account and booking pages is accurate and up to date, including their services, prices, availability, location, contact information and any terms applicable to customers.
Businesses are also responsible for providing their services lawfully and professionally and for maintaining any licences, registrations, permissions, insurance or qualifications required for the services they offer. Ezeebook does not endorse or guarantee the quality, safety or suitability of services offered by individual businesses.
6. Business subscriptions and plans
Businesses may subscribe to a paid Ezeebook plan to access the booking platform and associated features. Plans start from £14.99 per month for the Basic plan. The features, limits and current price applicable to each plan will be displayed when the business signs up or selects a subscription.
New businesses may be offered a 30-day free trial. No setup fee is charged and Ezeebook does not charge businesses commission on customer bookings made through the platform.
7. Subscription payments and renewal
Subscription fees are charged according to the billing period and plan selected by the business. Unless cancelled, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period and the applicable subscription fee will be charged using the payment method provided.
Businesses are responsible for ensuring that their payment and billing information remains accurate and up to date. Where applicable, taxes such as VAT may be added to the prices displayed or charged in accordance with applicable law.
8. Cancelling a business subscription
Businesses may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and the business will continue to have access to the features of its paid plan until that date.
Subscription payments are non-refundable. No refund or credit will normally be provided for unused time remaining in a billing period, partial months or periods during which the business did not use the service, except where required by law.
9. Free trials
Eligible new businesses may receive a 30-day free trial of Ezeebook. The features available during a free trial may depend on the plan selected and will be shown when the business signs up.
Where payment details are required to begin a free trial, the subscription will automatically convert to the selected paid plan at the end of the trial unless the business cancels before the trial ends. The applicable subscription price will be shown before the business starts the trial.
10. Changes to plans and prices
Ezeebook may change its subscription plans, features or prices from time to time. Any changes will not affect fees already paid for the current billing period.
Where a change affects an existing paid subscription, Ezeebook will provide reasonable notice where appropriate. Continued use of the subscription after the change takes effect will constitute acceptance of the revised price or plan, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
11. Availability of Ezeebook
Ezeebook aims to provide a reliable and accessible booking platform, but we do not guarantee that the website or services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors.
We may temporarily suspend, restrict or modify access to all or part of Ezeebook where necessary for maintenance, updates, security, technical reasons or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption where practicable, but Ezeebook will not be responsible for temporary interruptions or unavailability of the platform except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate a business account where we reasonably believe these Terms & Conditions have been breached, subscription fees remain unpaid, the account is being used unlawfully or fraudulently, or continued access could pose a risk to Ezeebook, its users or third parties.
Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice before suspending or terminating an account. However, immediate action may be taken where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or to protect users or the platform.
A business may stop using Ezeebook and cancel its subscription at any time in accordance with Section 8. Termination or cancellation does not affect any rights, obligations or amounts that arose before the effective termination date.
13. Intellectual property
The Ezeebook website, platform, software, branding, logos, design, text, graphics and other content provided by Ezeebook are owned by or licensed to Ezeebook and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use Ezeebook only for its intended purpose. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer or otherwise exploit any part of the Ezeebook platform or its content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Businesses remain responsible for and retain ownership of content they provide to Ezeebook, including business names, logos, photographs, service descriptions and other materials. By providing this content, the business grants Ezeebook permission to use, display and process it as reasonably necessary to provide and promote the Ezeebook service.
14. Third-party services and links
Ezeebook may contain links to, integrate with or rely on services provided by third parties, including payment providers, mapping services, communications providers and other technology services.
These third-party services are operated independently of Ezeebook and may be subject to their own terms, conditions and privacy policies. Ezeebook is not responsible for the content, availability or operation of third-party websites or services except to the extent required by law.
The inclusion of a link to or integration with a third-party service does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of that service by Ezeebook.
15. Limitation of liability
Ezeebook provides a platform that enables customers and independent businesses to connect and arrange bookings. Ezeebook does not provide the services offered by businesses using the platform and is not responsible for the quality, safety, suitability, availability or performance of those services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ezeebook will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of data arising from or in connection with the use of Ezeebook.
Ezeebook will not be responsible for losses resulting from information supplied by a business or customer, the acts or omissions of businesses or customers, cancelled or missed appointments, disputes between customers and businesses, or events outside our reasonable control, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
16. Indemnity
Businesses using Ezeebook are responsible for the services, information and content they provide through the platform and for ensuring that their use of Ezeebook complies with applicable laws and regulations.
To the extent permitted by law, a business agrees to indemnify Ezeebook against reasonable losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising from claims made against Ezeebook as a result of the business's unlawful use of the platform, breach of these Terms & Conditions, infringement of another person's rights, or the provision of services by that business.
This includes, where applicable, claims arising from information, content or materials supplied by the business, its dealings with customers, or its failure to obtain any licences, registrations, permissions, insurance or qualifications required to provide its services.
Nothing in this section requires a business to indemnify Ezeebook for losses caused by Ezeebook's own negligence, breach of these Terms & Conditions or unlawful conduct.
17. Cookies
Ezeebook uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, provide essential functionality, improve the user experience and, where applicable, understand how the website is used.
Some cookies are necessary for the website and booking platform to function correctly. Where required by law, non-essential cookies will only be used with your consent. You can manage or withdraw your consent for non-essential cookies through the cookie settings available on the website.
Further information about the cookies and similar technologies used by Ezeebook, their purposes and how you can manage your preferences is available in our Cookie Policy.
18. Privacy and personal information
Ezeebook collects and processes personal information in connection with the operation of the website and booking platform. How we collect, use, store and protect personal information, and the rights available to individuals, are explained in our Privacy Policy.
Businesses using Ezeebook are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws in relation to personal information they collect or process in connection with their customers and the services they provide.
19. Changes to these Terms
Ezeebook may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, legal requirements or other circumstances.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice to affected users.
Your continued use of Ezeebook after updated Terms & Conditions take effect will constitute acceptance of the revised terms, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the laws applicable where you live. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any rights you have under applicable consumer law that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
